Rotorua District Council supports events through both direct and indirect funding.
The criteria for evaluation include alignment with the Rotorua brand, inclusion of families and the local community, seasonality and visits to the region.
We review all Rotorua events on a case-by-case basis and encourage event organisers to contact the Events Manager regarding potential funding:
