Indoor Concerts

Our venues have a proven track record when it comes to hosting international, national and local music, dance and comedy acts, including the likes of Billy Ocean, the New Zealand Ballet, Paul Potts and Paul Young.

The Civic Theatre, located within the Rotorua Convention Centre, has modern and comfortable seating for 686 people with full sound and lighting facilities. Back stage has a counter-weight system with access on stage from both wings. Additional back stage facilities include three levels of changing rooms to accommodate both the star and the chorus lines.

For your convenience Events & Venues also operates a Ticketmaster Box Office at the front of the Rotorua Convention Centre, providing tickets for a number of Rotorua Events & Venues’ events.

The Energy Events Centre has the capability to play host to everything from rock concerts to the ballet, catering for up to 3000 people at a concert.
